Even after practicing dentistry for over 20 years, I still enjoy everything about it. All of my patients are great and I have some that we have created close friendships with. I hope to continue to provide quality care to my patients and any prospective patients to our practice.
Education and Continuing Education
In order to become a dentist, I first received a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. I then went on to graduate from the Southern Illinois University Edwardsville School of Dental Medicine.
Although my formal education is complete, I always attend continuing education classes so that I can stay up to date with the newest technologies and treatments including Invisalign. This is the best way to ensure that I give our patients the most effective treatment possible.
In the Practice
I love being a dentist because I’m a little bit of a perfectionist and I take great pride in my work. My patients deserve the best care I can provide and I enjoy interacting with my patients. After 20 years serving our community, many of my patients have become good friends, and I treat each person with respect and understanding.
Our whole team holds the comfort and health of our patients as their highest priority. They work well together and enjoy what they do. We have a lot of fun working together, and that translates easily into our patients having a great time in our practice!
Family Life
I am originally from Clinton, Iowa. My husband and I have lived in Aviston, IL, since 2003 but have lived in the area since 1995. I am married to Dr. Joe Truong, and we have three beautiful children together. We also live with our two dogs and two cats! In my spare time, I enjoy photography, spending time with my family, watching sports, studying genealogy, and attending my children’s sporting events.
